Priorities & Projects

Transformation Fund

The Transformation Fund provides startup funds for new academic and co-curricular programs. It also provides an opportunity to attract longer term endowed investment in these programs.

Initiatives that are currently underway transforming curricular and co-curricular programming through donor support include:

  • a kinesiology major to build on Centenary’s strengths in preparing students in health-related fields, including athletic training, physical therapy, and occupational therapy

  • the establishment of the Learning Commons, a hub in Magale Library that offers academic programs, services, and resources for students and faculty

  • a sport management major in the Frost School of Business, which will provide students with leadership, business, operations, and analytical skills useful within the sport industry

  • the return of football to Centenary at the NCAA DIII level, after a hiatus of over 70 years at the College

  • a renovation of the practice rooms and the addition of an elevator to the Hurley School of Music
